2.1 Applications
The Grundfos E-Box 500 (E-Box = Extension Box)
must only be used as a communication interface
between a SMART digital S DDA dosing pump and
an Ethernet network.
The E-Box 500 contains a CIM 500 module (CIM =
Communication Interface Module).
For internal communication between the E-Box and
the dosing pump, GENIbus is used.
