Magneto Switches – OFF
Primer – Spring Loaded to Center
Flight Instruments – CHECKED
Engine Instruments – CHECKED
Radios – AS DESIRED
Circuit Breakers – CHECKED/IN
STARTING ENGINES
Airplane Power
Master Switch – ON.
External Lights – AS REQUIRED.
Auxiliary Fuel Pumps – ON, Check Fuel Pressure, then OFF.
Propellers – CLEAR.
Magneto – Left ON, Right ON After Start.
Starter Button – PRESS.
Primer – AS NECESSARY.
Throttle – 800 to 1200 RPM for warm-up.
Oil Pressure – 25 PSI within 30 seconds.
Alternator Switch – ON.
Engine Instruments – CHECKED.
Gyro Pressure Gauge – CHECKED.
Using the same procedure, start other engine.
External Power
Master Switch – OFF.
External Power – SET for 12 Volts, CONNECTED.
Master Switch – ON.
External Lights – AS REQUIRED.
Auxiliary Fuel Pumps – ON, Check Fuel Pressure, then OFF.
Propellers – CLEAR.
Left Engine Magneto – Left ON, Right ON After Start.
Left Engine Starter Button – PRESS.
Throttle – 800 to 1200 RPM for warm-up.
Oil Pressure – 25 PSI within 30 seconds.
Left Alternator Switch – ON.
Left Ammeter – CHECKED.
Engine Instruments – CHECKED.
Gyro Pressure Gauge – CHECKED.
Left Alternator Switch – OFF.
Master Switch – OFF.
External Power – OFF AND DISCONNECTED.
Master Switch – ON.
Left Alternator Switch – ON.
