ANCHORING INSTRUCTIONS

document included with shipment.
WARNING:
Improper anchoring may cause tunnel instability and
structural failure. Failing to anchor tunnel frame properly
will void
manufacturer’s warranty
and may cause serious injury and damage.
If ground posts
were not set in concrete
, anchor frame as described
in the Must Read document.

Assemble Frame
FRAME ASSEMBLY – continued
NOTE:
Add end clamps to final end rafter to complete frame assembly.
9. Return to each clamp and purlin pipe splice and secure using Tek screws
as shown in detail diagrams.
10. Finally, attach peak purlin (square tube) to frame using Tek screws and
104642 right-angle brackets. Consult side profile diagram and related
detail diagrams in Quick Start section for additional information and pipe
identification. Purlin runs end-to-end down center at top of each rafter.
ATTENTION:
At this time, do not install brackets that secure square peak
purlin to
end rafters
. These are installed
after end panel is attached
to
end rafter as shown in the next procedure.
NOTE:
Install screws in cross
connectors so they do not contact
cover when installed.

8. Continue adding rafters, cross connectors, and purlin pipes to complete
frame assembly. Check on-center rafter spacing and maintain level purlin
runs.
Check on-center rafter spacing throughout frame assembly.
Square
Tube Peak Purlin
See connection details in Quick Start section to install peak purlin.
Secure all tube joints using a Tek screw installed through side of
tube.
Do not install screws on top of purlin tubes.

Gather parts:
• 104642 brackets and FA4474B Tek screws
• 102897 1.5" x 1.5" x 99" square tube & 104779 (24' & 48' long
frames) or S15P048 (for 36' long frame)
