CLEANING
Always clean the gun at the end of the day or when changing the paint color.
1. Use a cloth soaked in appropriate solvent, clean the container and the external part of the gun.
2. Remove the hood of the air nozzle, the partition and the nozzle, and clean them, using a brush.
Make sure to prevent the air nozzle hood openings from getting damaged.
3. Remove the needle and clean it. In the gun, clean the openings through which paint fl ows. Do
not allow solvent to get to the gun openings through which air fl ows. Therefore, cleaning the
openings for paint, it is better to direct the gun downward.
Never soak the entire gun in solvent.
Use of optional remote pressure vessels:
Standard confi guration of the gun is confi guration of the gun which administers the substance from
the container and which is equipped with a HVLP turbine. It is also possible to use the gun and the
turbine with a remote pressure vessel (confi guration with pressure administration). It is only necessary
to adapt the gun. In order to do it:
1. Use an appropriate wrench to loosen the cap supporting the container for paint.
2. Connect the hose leading from the pressure vessel.
3. Use the right wrench to unscrew the ventilation discharge connector from the gun body.
4. Use a screw with an appropriate thread to close the connector opening.
Procedure to release pressure:
When using the pressure vessel, before opening it, always reduce pressure in it.
In order to reduce pressure:
1. Cut off the air supply to the vessel.
2. Open the pressure reduction valve on the vessel.
Maintenance
1. Keep the gun clean.
2. Keep the inlet fi lters of the turbine clean.
Repairs should be subcontracted to a qualifi ed serviceman.
