To start cutting, support the limiter on the processed material and align the saw blade with the intend-
ed cutting line without touching the processed object with a saw blade. Start the saw and by using
the limiter as the turning point, carefully bring the saw blade against the processed material. After
the material is preliminarily sawed, the tool should (if it is possible) be held perpendicularly to the cut
material, and then the cutting should be continued.
During the processing of metals, the cutting should be carried out so that the biggest number of teeth
are set against the processed material. In order to elongate the longevity of saw blades (while cutting
metals), you can apply greasing-cooling medium in a stick.
Avoid excessive pressure on the saw blade before the proper sawing of the material and do not use full
speed of the tool as it can result in breaking of the blade!
In case the saw blade gets jammed, make sure to switch off the tool immediately! Using proper tools,
the cutting slot should be widened and the saw blade should be removed.
After the work is fi nished, switch off the tool and remove the saw blade from the slot. The tool can be
put away after the saw blade stops entirely – there is a risk of bouncing off or damage to the saw blade!
The submerging cuts can be made in soft materials only, such as wood or plastic, by using very short
saw blades. In order to perform a submerging cut, support the lower edge of the limiter (2) on the pro-
cessed material while not touching the material with a blade. Turn on the machine and, using the lim-
iter as a support point, raise the rear handle (6) gradually upwards in such a way that the blade starts
cutting into the processed element (Fig. 5).
