Pulley wheel and
belt
Insert pulley wheel shaft into hole.
Turn shaft until the flat on the shaft
is mating correctly in the hole.
Add washer to pulley wheel shaft.
Place a small amount of grease on
the pulley wheel shaft.
Add pulley wheel.
Add washer to pulley wheel shaft
above the pulley wheel.
Add belt.
Belt goes around black pulley
wheel, idler arm and generator as
shown in the picture.
Turn crank handle and check that
the belt runs freely without twists,
and that the red light comes on.
Back case
Place back onto the front case.
Make sure the battery wire sits near
the speaker, and stays away from
the mechanical gear.
Screw 4 screws into back case.
(Short back screw S402 goes in the
bottom left corner, near side cover)
Screw in the side cover.
Final test
Turn crank handle.
Check that there is no unnecessary
noise being made and that the
motion is smooth.
Check that the red light comes on
indicating the generator is charging
the battery.
Turn on the player.
Make sure audio is heard.
Make sure all the buttons work
correctly.
