MAINTENANCE
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1.
Wax applicator bonnets are to be used
only once and disposed of.
2.
It is recommended that the terrycloth
bonnets be washed by hand and air-
dried to extend the life of the bonnet.
The terrycloth bonnets are 100% cot-
ton and can be machine-washed in
cold water with a small amount of
detergent and dried on low heat.
3.
Remove the bonnets from the pad
before storing the machine.
4.
To prolong the pad life of the machine,
it is recommended to store it with the
pad face up.
5.
Badly oxidized paint may require sev-
eral applications.
DO NOT USE
ABRASIVE COMPOUNDS.
6.
Be careful not to apply too much wax.
This is the most common error the
operator can make. If the pad
becomes saturated, it will not last as
long, and polishing will be more diffi-
cult and take longer. Two signs that
you are using too much wax are: The
applicator continuously comes off the
pad and buffing seems difficult.
Disconnect power to the tool
when performing any mainte-
nance, assembly or adjustments.
Failure to do this may result in
serious personal injury.
