Working Safely
• Observe the specified working angle
(60°±10°), in order to guarantee safe
working.
• Do not use the high pruning saw when
standing on a ladder or in an unsafe
position.
• Do not be tempted to make uncon-
sidered cuts. Doing so may endanger
both yourself and others.
• Children must be supervised to en-
sure that they do not play with the
equipment.
Transport
Never transport your equipment
whilst the cutting blades are mov

ing! Risk of injury!
To transport, hold the equipment
on the bar under the round handle,
where the weight is in balance.
The equipment is to be transported
horizontally only. Carry it such
that the safety cutting blade points
backwards.
Danger! Risk of burns!
Ensure that the hot exhaust can
come into contact neither with
you nor with other people or com
-
bustible objects.
Switch off the motor after finishing
work or to transport over larger
distances.
Push the blade guard over the
safety cutting blade.
Maintenance and
cleaning
Contact one of our authorised
Service Centres about work not
described in this manual. Only
use OEM parts.
Regularly check the blades for
wear and have them sharpened as
necessary. Blunt blades will over-
load the machine.
Wear gloves when handling the
blades.
