4.4 AD3214 VESUVIO CYM 250 HFT Wireless DMX Signal Transmission
VESUVIO 250 is also available in the HFT version, which features the optional wireless DMX
data transmission, as well as the standard DMX cable transmission.
The dip switches have the same function as when the unit operates in DMX/SLAVE mode (see 4.1
DMX/SLAVE mode), apart from dip switches no. 1 and 6 of the second group:
- the dip switch no.1 (second group) allows to select the transmission mode: OFF = transmission
via cable, ON = wireless transmission;
- the dip switch no.6 (second group) allows to change the transmission frequency of the DMX
signal, so to avoid conflicts between adjacent similar devices by Griven that are running different
programmes.
5.0 MAINTENANCE
The VESUVIO unit does not require particular maintenance. In fact, as an IP65 certified item, it is
completely proofed against external agents. However, to ensure maximum performance and light
output, it is recommended to follow these instructions:
- keep the front glass clean regularly (note: the protection grid can be removed, for this purpose);
- replace the dichroic filters in case they are visibly damaged;
- replace the lamp if it is damaged or deformed;
- carefully check the electrical connections, particularly the ground connection;
- replace all the damaged components.
Before starting servicing or cleaning the unit, disconnect the lantern from main supplies.
Before opening the projector, it is recommended to wait at least 15 minutes after the lamp has been
turned off.
