PACKING
Check carefully the content of the box and in case of damage contact immediately your forwarder.
The following items are included in the box:
n° 1 instructions leaflet
n° 1 MAITRE or ROTOMAITRE
n° 1 lamp 800W circular
SAFETY
We strongly suggest to disconnect the lantern from mains supply before opening it.
- This projector has been designed for use in interior. For safety operation, max. ambient tempera-
ture must not exceed 50°C.
- Caution: the surface temperature of the projector can reach 100°C
- Caution: hot lamp; ensure that the lamp is cold before attempting to remove it (about 10 minu-
tes)
- Caution: it is strongly recommended that a safety-chain or wire is attached to this projector and
secured to the main mounting framework, to arrest the fall of the unit in the unlikely event that the
primary mounting arrangement fails.
INSTALLATION
Fitting lamp
1) Open the lamp cover unscrewing the 2 knobs located on the top part of the lantern.
2) Clean the lamp with the cleaning towel and fit it carefully in the lamp holder.
- avoid to touch the lamp with fingers or dirty towels;
- do not shake the lamp;
3) Fix the lamp to the lamp holder.
4) Close the lamp cover.
Mounting position
The MAITRE and ROTOMAITRE can be mounted in any position; distance from flammable
object must be minimum 0.5m.
Fixing
A Ø 12.5mm hole is provided in the fork to attach the lantern to a clamp or bracket.
Electrical connection
1) Connect the supply cable to a plug capable to support a load of at least 10 Amps.
2) Connect the lantern to a mains supply of 230V - 50/60Hz.
USE OF THE LANTERN
Operation
The lamp used for MAITRE and ROTOMAITRE is an halogen circular lamp 800W base GX9,5.
MAITRE and ROTOMAITRE project a serie of tunnel beams. On MAITRE version the beams are
fixed whereas on ROTOMAITRE version the beams are rotating. The beams can be coloured
with colour filters to be inserted in the colour frame.
