In case you have acted on adjustment screws and not
obtained the expected result, it is possible that rotations
made have brought the lamp out of the reflector focus. In
this case, turn the projector off and wait for the lamp to
get cool. Open the lamp compartment, untightening the
screws indicated by the arrow (open). Pull the lamp out.
Measure the distance between the two metal sheets in-
dicated in picture and take it back to the quoted di-
stance (16mm starting point for the adjustment). Reinsert
the lamp and tighten closing screws. Repeat then the
lamp adjustment operations following the guidelines de-
scribed at the beginning of this paragraph.
8.1 Powering up the unit
Once performed all actions described in the previous paragraphs, you can proceed and power up the unit.
The lamp should switch on within 15 seconds from the ignition of the unit.
8.2 Control panel
When the unit is turned on, the display shows the DMX
addresses and indicates the presence of the DMX signal.
In the presence of the DMX signal the green led will
steadily be on while in the absence of DMX signal the led
will flash.
The red led is on during:
• DMX address is setting
• menu setting
8.2.1 Reading the display and using controls
MENU
button:
Each time this button is pressed, the display will show the following functions, sequentially:
• address setting;
• options setting.
UP
and
DOWN
buttons:
By pushing the
UP
and
DOWN
buttons, values of the function which is shown in the display can be changed.
ENTER
button:
Keep the
ENTER
button pushed for a few seconds (until the display and the green led flash), in order to memorize
the function which is shown on the display.
Lamp life meter: Push
ENTER
for more than 10 seconds.
Use meter: Push
ENTER
for more than 20 seconds.
To reset the lamp life meter push
UP
,
DOWN
and
ENTER
simultaneously until you get the zero setting of the display.
8.2.2 Setting DMX address
The display shows the unit’s address when the unit is turned on.
Follow this description to modify the address: press once the
MENU
button and go to address set-up. Then select
the desired value (between 1 and 512 ) through the
UP
and
DOWN
keys. Press
ENTER
to confirm.
The number of DMX channels used by the unit to operate will depend on the value of option 2, that activates the
function
PRESET COLOURS
.
• OPTION 2 = OFF (function PRESET COLOURS not active)
Each unit will use
