4.4 MASTER -SLAVE
More NIAGARA units can be set to 'SLAVE' option to follow the 'MASTER' unit in synchrony.
The 'MASTER' unit must have its relevant DIP switch key set to MASTER/AUTOMATIC; the
'SLAVE' units must have all DIP switches set to (OFF).
A line terminal resistor is required when the DMX line is longer than 100m.
The line terminal must be fitted between the 2 signal pins (2 and 3) at the end of the DMX line. A
120 ohm resistor is suggested.
5.0 MAINTENANCE
This unit is certified to an IP67 protection against all kinds of weather conditions and therefore it
does not require a regular maintenance.
To obtain the maximum light output and a durable life for the unit please follow instructions
below:
- clean regularly the upper glass;
- replace the dichroic filters if there are visible damages such as cut, cracks or deep scratches
- replace the lamp in case it is damaged or deformed;
- carefully check the electrical connections, particularly the ground connection;
- replace any visibly damaged part.
Before starting any maintenance or cleaning, it is recommended to unplug the unit from the power
supply. Before opening the unit it is suggested to wait at least 15 minutes after the lamps is swit-
ched off.
