Received commands must begin with the two-character sequence
AT
and must be terminated with a
carriage return character.
Any character sequence received not starting with
AT
will be ignored. The unit will only recognize and
process single
AT
-style commands. Compound
AT
commands will be treated as unrecognized commands.
If the
Full Verbose
option is in effect, an unrecognized command string that is otherwise formatted
correctly (begins with
AT
and ends with carriage return) will be responded to with the
OK
message and no
further action is taken.
If the Numeric Response option is in effect, unrecognized command strings that are otherwise formatted
correctly will be responded to with
OK
and no further action is taken.
