may cause the circuit breaker to trip or the fuse to blow when the heater is in operation. The unit comes
standard with a 6 ft (1.8 m) long 3 wire cord, exiting out the back of the fireplace insert. Plan the
installation to avoid the use of an extension cord. If an extension cord must be used, it must be a minimum
14 ga, 3 wire with grounding type plug and connector and rated not less than 1875 watts. The extension
cord shall not be more than 20 ft (6 m) in length.
WARNING:
Electrical outlet wiring must comply with local building codes and other applicable regulations
to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock and injury to persons.
WARNING:
Do not use this fireplace insert if any part of it has been under water. Immediately call a
qualified service technician to inspect the firebox and replace any part of the electrical system which has
been under water.

Glass Information
1.
Under no circumstances should this product be operated with a broken or chipped glass panel.
2.
Do not strike or slam the glass.
3.
Do not use abrasive cleansers to clean the glass.
4.
This product uses tempered glass. Replacement of the glass supplied by the manufacturer should be
done by qualified/authorized service personnel only.
Installing the Tempered Glass Bed
You will need one phillips head screwdriver
and remove the bag of tempered glass pieces
from the carton to complete the following
instructions:
1. Remove the 6 screws on the back left and
right sides of the firebox that hold the glass
front in place.
2. Remove the glass front by tilting the bottom
away from the firebox, and pulling the
glass front down out of the safety tabs on
top.
3. Evenly distribute the tempered glass pieces
in the metal tray in front of the diffuser
screen.
4. Replace the glass front by inserting the
safety tabs along the top edge, and
carefully swing the bottom of the glass
front against the firebox.
5. Line up the holes on the front with the holes
on the firebox and insert and tighten 6
screws to hold the glass front in place.
