CONTROLLING TRAVEL
The travel is controlled using the travel lever (Fig.
7). When the lever is pulled to the handle, the
lawnmower will start moving.
To stop, release the lever. This lawnmower has one
constant speed.
Only GLM690SX.
APPLICATION RANGE FOR THE PETROL LAWN MOWER
MOWING WITH THE GRASS CATCHER
When the grass catcher is installed, grass clippings are discharged into the grass catcher.
MOWING WITH THE REAR DISCHARGE
Without the grass catcher installed, the grass catcher cover serves as a deflector that directs the
movement of the grass clippings towards the ground. A row of grass clippings is thereby formed
behind the lawnmower.
MULCHING
Mulching option only for GLM690SX.
CAUTION!
Attach and remove the mulching plug only with the engine turned off.
CAUTION!
Use only original mulching accessories
when mulching.
1. Remove the grass catcher and hold the
plastic grass catcher cover with your hand
(Fig. 8)
2. Install the mulching plug into the
discharge chute (Fig. 8 ) and make sure
that the plug is seated firmly.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Do not mulch tall grass all at once, this will prevent overloading the lawnmower
mechanism and the engine.
