Positioning of the plates
• To position the plates back into the appliance, make sure that the knobs located at the back
of the plates are inserted in the slots located on the main body of the appliance.
• Then press the plates firmly downwards to the main body until they are securely fastened
into place.
Care and Cleaning
• Always disconnect the appliance from the supply mains and allow it to cool down completely
before cleaning.
• It is easier to clean the appliance when it is slightly warm.
Caution: To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the appliance in water or other
liquids.
• Wipe the grill plates of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth to remove any food residues.
• To remove suborn food residues, remove the plates from the appliance and wash them with
warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse and dry the plates thoroughly before placing them
back into the appliance.
• Never use highly corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents which may damage the non stick
plates.
• Never use metal utensils to remove food residues, like forks or knives, which can damage
the non stick surface of the plates
• Wipe the outer body of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not clean the outer surface of the
appliance by using any abrasive sourcing pads or steel wool which may damage the finish.
Never use highly corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents.
• The appliance is not dishwasher safe.
Storage
• Always unplug the appliance before storing.
• Always make sure the appliance is cool and dry before storing.
• Always store the appliance far from the reach of children.
Recipes
Cheese & ham toast
2-4 slices of dark or white bread
2 thick slices of cheese
2 slices of cooked ham
Preheat the grill. When the temperature indicator turns off, place the sandwiches on the plates.
Close the grill and serve after 2-3 minutes or according to your taste.
