Fold the wings (page 24) and engage wing
hooks (page 18).

Turn on lights for transport.

Transport Locks
Wing Hooks
Wing hooks prevent the planter from unfolding while
the wing hooks are resting on the tongue stop
(shown).
To release wing hooks with two-point hitch:
1. Use the tractor lift lever to fully raise the planter.
2. Lower the two-point hitch.
3. Verify the wing hooks have been released by
raising above the tongue stop.
4. Set tractor lift hydraulic lever to “Neutral”.
Cylinder Locks
A cylinder lock installed on each lift cylinder prevents
the frame from lowering during transport and
maintenance. For transport and maintenance, a
cylinder lock must be used on each lift cylinder on
the main transport tires. The cylinder lock is easily
identifiable by its red coloring.
To install cylinder lock:
1. Use the tractor lift lever to fully raise the planter.
2. Set tractor lift hydraulic circuit to “Neutral”.
3. Remove the cylinder lock (1) from storage
position (shown).
4. Place the cylinder lock (1) on the fully raised lift
cylinder rod and secure with pin (2).I
5. Repeat for each of the four lift hydraulic cylinders
on the main transport tires.
To remove cylinder lock:
1. Use the tractor lift lever to fully raise the planter.
The planter may have settled onto the cylinder
locks while installed. It will be necessary to
raise the planter in order to remove the cylinder
locks.
2. Set tractor lift hydraulic circuit to “Neutral”.
