OPERATING INSTRUCTION
1. Before using the unit, clean the Baking Surfaces with a damp cloth.
2. Close the Cover and lock it with the Locking Clip until you hear it clip into place.
3. Plug the unit into the power outlet, the Red Power Light will go on indicating the unit is heating up. Allow
the unit to preheat until the Green Ready Light goes on, which means the operating temperature is
reached. The unit is ready for baking.
4. Open the Cover, quickly fill each of the baking mould with mixed batter
5. Close the Cover again, the Green Ready Light comes back off again after a short time. It indicates the
unit is heating up.
6. Wait until the Ready Light goes on, then slowly open the Cover to check the degree of baking until all
nuts become “Golden Brown”.
7. Loosen the baked nuts at the sides, and remove them using a wooden spatula. Do not use metal
utensils as this may damage the non-stick coating in the baking plates. Allow nuts to cool down completely
before icing and decorating.
CAUTION :
1. Avoid touching the baking plates as they become very hot while cooking. Only touch the unit by its
handle or use oven gloves if necessary.
Useful Tips :
1. Crispy baked nuts soon go soft if you pile them on top of each other. It is better to place them at a dry
place in single layer.
2. All ingredients should be mixed thoroughly to produce even browning.
3. Do not overfill and make sure the batter not too runny as this may produce large amounts of steam and
possibly also cause batter to escape from between the baking surfaces.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
To improve the performance and life of this product, you are recommended to do the following:
1.
Unplug the unit and let it cool down before cleaning.
2.
Remove crumbs and stain from the baking surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.
3.
Use a damp cloth or sponge with neutralized detergent to wipe the dirt on the case and the
baking surfaces gently.
4.
Do not immerse the unit, power cord and plug into water. Let the unit dry well before storage.
STORAGE
Follow the below instructions for storage:
1.
Unplug the appliance from the electrical power outlet.
2.
Tidy up the power cord.
3.
The unit should be stored at a dry, cool place.
