As standard the Monstertruck is delivered with the slower gear ratio. Optionally the faster transmission for
higher top speed can be installed. In addition the main gear and the motor pinion must be changed. Therefore
you have to loose the M4 nut on the main gear with a 7mm nut driver and the set screw in the pinion with a
1.5mm Allen key (fi g. 1).
Pull now the main gear wheel of the shaft. Pay attention to the pin 90165,43, so that it does not fall out. Next
you take the engine pinion off. Now you can install the faster transmission. Put fi rst the main gear wheel (82
teeth) onto the shaft - attention to the correct seat of the pin on the shaft and in the recess of the main gear -
and screw the M4 nut again fi rmly. Finally install the larger pinion with 26 teeth on the motor shaft and, tighten
the M3 set-screw. Make sure to install the motor pinion in such a way that the two gears lock concisely (see
fi g. 2).

Don't drive in wet grass or puddles, because the electronic equipment (servo, receiver and speed controller)
is not waterproof. If you want to drive in the wet, these parts must be protected waterproof (e.g. by a bal-
lon).
