Mounting Bolt
STEERING LEVER ADJUSTMENT
To adjust steering levers, loosen mount-
ing bolts that secure the levers to the lever
mounts. This allows the levers to be moved
forwards or backwards (refer to Fig. 9). Set
levers to a comfortable position for the opera-
tor. Hold levers in an outward position and
tighten bolts. The levers must line up when
in neutral position and maintain one inch of
clearance between ends of levers. If the le-
vers are allowed to lean toward the center
when the mounting bolts are tightened, free
play in the mounting holes may allow the le-
vers to hit each other.
FOOT REST BLOCK INSTALLATION
On 600T series tractor, always install foot rest
block with the narrow end toward the front
(refer to Fig 10).

• Install lift straps (item 3) in the rocker (item
1) where shown, securing with carriage
bolt (item 6) and lock nut (item 7).
• Install lift chain (item 2) between lift straps
and secure with clevis pin (item 4) and
cotter pin (item 5).
• Refer to deck operators manual for addi-
tional attaching instructions.
