Installation

Module Installation

Follow the steps listed below to install a module into the SMS 8000
Frame.

1.

Insert the module into the frame so that the left and right
edges of the module slide inward between the card guides.

2.

Press the front-panel retaining/ejecting tab in to lock the
module in place.

3.

Additional information concerning the frame and power
supply installation is located in the SMS 8000 Frame and Power
Supply Manual, part number TP3465.
