8900GEN-SM
GeckoFlex Reference Input Submodule
The 8900GEN-SM submodule attaches to a synchronizer module and provides a reference input for:
• The host synchronizer module
• Other GeckoFlex modules via the frame reference bus (if the module is mounted in slot 1 or slot 3)
A second submodule attached to another GeckoFlex host module can provide a redundant frame reference
or a reference of a completely different signal format.
NOTE: At least one module per frame must have a genlock submodule installed to provide reference bus support.

Genlock Reference Supported Formats:
• NTSC 29.97 Hz and PAL 25 Hz color black (black
and burst)
• 1080i 59.94 Hz tri-level sync
• 720p 59.94 Hz tri-level sync
• 1080i 50 Hz tri-level sync
• 720p 50 Hz tri-level sync
• 1080p 24 Hz tri-level sync
• 1080sf 24 Hz tri-level sync
• AES 48 kHz signal and AES 96 kHz signals
• Word Clock 48 kHz and Word Clock 96 kHz

8900GEN-SM
Reference input submodule. This submodule mounts
to the synchronizer to provide reference input for the
frame reference bus. It is not required for 8985PRC
module operation.
