SEARCH START-MARK
The START-MARK is searched from current media set position using the sensor of the cutter unit.
You can check the first cut start position.
Feed the media to where the START-MARK of the data you want to cut passes the vicinity of the dancer roller 1.

MENU screen is displayed.
CAUTION
The cutter unit starts operating as soon as this
function is set. To avoid injury to yourself, keep
your hands, face and other obstacles out of the
vicinity of any moving parts.

Press the POSITION ( ) keys to select “SEARCH START-
0$5.µ7KHLWHPLVKLJKOLJKWHG7KHQSUHVV>(17(5@NH\
PROCESSING screen is displayed.
Supplement
If the START-MARK is not sensed, the following
message is displayed.
Make sure the set status of media, the position
of push roller, and print status of START-MARK.
Next, to sense the START-MARK again, press
>(17(5@NH\<HV
The START-MARK is searched.
When the START-MARK is sensed, the machine stops the
search near the sensed position.
After sensing, it returns to the MENU screen.
