OPERATION / SETUP
The mains voltage must correspond to the voltage value specified on the nameplate.
The heater is equipped with a control and safety system. Heaters have thermal protection that stops
their work in the event of excessive temperature, and reinitiates the heaters after cooling them
down.
The heater works in a, so-called,
continuous operation mode
, which means that after reaching a preset
temperature, only heaters are deactivated, whereas the fan runs with a constant efficiency all the time.
The heater can operate in three modes
summer
,
heating levels I
and
II
.
SUMMER
– designed to force airflow in the room. Operation of the appliance is not dependent on the
temperature in the room. The appliance runs continuously until the user turns it off.
Heating level
I
and
II
– the appliance forces the airflow with its warming. In the
heating level I
- 1 heater
is running, in the
heating level II
- 2 heaters are running. Regardless of the heating level, the air flow is
constant. The appliance operates until reaching the temperature of the air in the room set on the thermostat
(
5
) in the scope
MIN – MAX
(
Fig. D
).
Setting a heating level switch in the following positions means:
Pos. O – the heater is off.
Pos. I – only the fan (blowing cold air) (Fig. A).
Pos. II – low heating power (Fig. B).
Pos. III – high heating power (Fig. C).
The fan starts to work as soon as the appliance is switched on by turning the heating level knob in
one of three positions.
●
Set the heating level switch in the correct position (
1
).
Set the thermostat (
●
5
) in the position of the desired value.
When the room temperature reaches the preset value, turn the thermostat knob (
●
5
) counter-clockwise
and set the desired value.
In the heating mode, the thermostat will automatically turn the heater on/off to adjust the room
●
temperature to the preset value.
Before turning off the heater, set the heating level switch in the position I and leave it in this position
for about 3 min to cool the heaters.
SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
Before performing any adjustments, maintenance or repairs, disconnect the appliance from the
mains and wait until it cools down.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
●
Store the appliance free from dust and any kind of sediment.
Wipe with a cloth moistened with soap solution. Be careful not to allow water to get into the heater. Wipe
●
with a dry cloth.
Do not use gasoline or solvents to clean the heater.
●
Air inlet and outlet grilles must be cleaned at regular intervals, such as once a week.
●
For repairs use only original spare parts.
●
After any maintenance or repair works, inspect functions of the appliance.
●
The heater should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated room.
●
Do not clean with pressurized water (e.g. spraying water from a hose, using a steam jet or pressure
washer).
All failures should be removed by an authorized manufacturer’s Service center.
