CONTROL OF JIGSAW OPERATING SPEED
You can control rotational speed of jigsaw motor by turning and setting the wheel for operation speed control ( 1 ) in desired
position. It allows to adjust the power tool working speed to match characteristics of processed material. Speed control
ranges from 1 to 6.
The bigger the number on the wheel rim (1) (fig. C), the greater the jigsaw operation speed.
FOOTPLATE ADJUSTMENT FOR BEVEL CUTTING
Disconnect the power tool from power supply.
Lift the blade guard and loosen screws that fix the footplate ( ● 5 ) with the hex key.
Move the footplate to the back ( ● fig. E ).
Set the footplate to appropriate angle (use the scale). ●
Move the set footplate to the front. ●
Tighten the fixing screws. ●
Scale allows for setting the footplate to angles: 0

, 15
o
, 30
o
or 45
o
(right or left). Put the hex key in its place immediately
after adjustment has been made.
CUTTING
● Lower the blade guard.
Switch on the jigsaw and wait until it reaches its top speed. ●
Press the jigsaw footplate ( ● 5 ) against material to be processed.
Move the jigsaw slowly along previously set cutting line. ●
Press the jigsaw very gently when making curved cuttings. ●
If the jigsaw footplate does not move on the processed material, but is lifted instead, there is a danger of breaking
the blade.
METAL CUTTING / TYPES OF BLADES
Use appropriate blades with more teeth for metal cutting.
For metal cutting use appropriate lubricant (e.g. oil for cutting). Metal cutting without lubrication leads to rapid wear of
blade. The below table gives the best choices for blade type:

Use only appropriate and sharp blades. ●
Do not use blades with damaged shank. ●
Use appropriate blade types. ●
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the power cord from the mains socket before commencing any activities related to installation, adjust-
ment, repair or maintenance.
Jigsaw is a maintenance-free tool, however periodic lubrication of blade guiding roller is recommended. A drop of oil ●
applied in this place will prolong lifetime of the roller.
When carbon brushes become worn out (height of approximately 4 mm), replace both brushes at the same time.

Entrust all jigsaw service and maintenance actions to authorized service, it will ensure power tool reliability. ●
Clean the tool body with dry cloth. Do not use any cleaning agents, as they may damage the casing. ●
All faults should be repaired by service workshop authorized by the manufacturer.
