Battery operated versions
will not be effected by a power cut unless it is
longer than a few hours, then the gate should be manually operated until the
power is restored and the battery has charged. Over night charging is best.
The Control Board charges the Battery Automatically.
For non-battery versions if the power is removed from the Gate Operator
it will not work so must be manually released. Once power is restored the
following will happen:
• If Limit Switches are used the operator will simply operate per normal
although if the gate is fully open it may require a couple of presses of the
remote control to start closing.
• If Limit Switches are Not used the operator will also operate per normal
although if the gate is fully open it will require a couple of presses of the
remote control and if partly open it will start to open but will not know where
the open stop is so will reverse back closed and runn slow until it finds the
close stop, then run normally from then. It may take a couple of goes before
it finds the close stop.
