5. Safety instructions
• Do not use the device if there is damage on the housing, plug or cable.
In this case, contact your authorised specialist!
• Do not open the device! Repairs or replacement of the battery should only
be done by a trained specialist.
• Only clean the device once the main plug has been unplugged from the power socket.
• There is a risk that damage caused by dropping the device could lead
to the battery overheating and auto-igniting.
• There is a risk of short-circuit. Repairs on the device should only be carried out
by trained specialists. In this case, contact your nearest approved dealer.
• Protect the battery against heat, continuous and intensive sun exposure,
fi re, water and moisture. Risk of explosion!
• The work light must not be used in areas containing explosive atmospheres.
• If the battery is damaged or not used correctly, liquids can escape
from the battery. Avoid touching any liquids. Escaping battery liquids
can cause skin irritation or burns. Rinse your skin off with water if you should come
into contact with battery liquids. Should the battery liquid enter your eye, make sure
that you seek medical advice.
• The lamp must not be placed on the light surface while in operation.
6. Disposal
• The device must never be disposed of with household waste.
• Dispose of the device via an approved disposal centre or your municipal waste facility.
Please follow the currently applicable regulations.
If in doubt, please contact your waste disposal facility. Dispose of all packaging
materials via an environmentally-friendly waste disposal facility.
Rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of in household waste
• Give your used rechargeable batteries back to your dealer or to an approved
battery collection point.
