◊
One 3 Kg. propanebottle is installed in a special compartment in
the cockpit area under the helmsman seat and has an indipendent
drain on the port top side.
◊
The system is equipped with a regulator with an automatic cut off
valve.
◊
The bottle is connected with an approved flexible hose clamped
in place to the copper piping that reaches the galley area. The
piping runs along the hull on the port side of the yacht and ends into
the stove compartment with an interception valve.
◊
An approved flexible hose, clamped in place, connects the copper
pipe to the stove allowing it to swing on its gimbals.
Stove Lighting Instructions
To light a burner:
• Open the valve on the propane bottle in the cockpit locker.
• Open the interception valve behind the stove.
• Choose the appropriate burner and light it up keeping the knob
pushed for a few seconds to warm up the safety thermo couple
valve.
Caution: The safety thermo couple valve, after a few years use,
might deteriorate and need replacing by specialized personnel.
Caution
• The system contains propane gas under pressure that can be
dangerous in case of leaks.
• All open flames, especially propane stoves, must be used with
extreme caution.
• All open flames may ignite fires on board the yacht.
• When leaving the boat unattended:
- close the valve in the galley compartment, behind the stove;
- close the valve on the propane bottle in the aft cockpit.
