This unit is intended to be used in household and similar applica-
tions such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working
environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other resi-
dental type environments; bed and breakfast type environments.
●
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manu-
facturer, its service or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
●
Do not use the unit if the connection cable or plug is damaged.
●
To prevent hazards, before continuing to use the unit have a new
connection cable installed solely by the manufacturer or its cus-
tomer service department or a similarly qualified person
●
Never open the unit housing under any circumstances. If live con-
nections are touched and the electrical or mechanical structure
changes, there is a danger of electric shock.
●
Never touch any parts that are conducting electricity. They can
cause an electric shock or even lead to death.
●
Always pull the power supply line from the electric socket with the
connection plug, not on the connection cable.
●
Make sure the mains cable does not get caught anywhere, which
could lead to the unit falling down.
●
Do not use the packing material as a toy. Danger of suffocation.
●
Do not fill the electric kettle with water past the highest mark. Wa

ter that bubbles over can lead to injuries.
●
Do not touch the outer wall of the unit; it can get hot.
●
Never immerse the unit or the base station into water or any other
liquid.
●
Touch the unit only on the handle.
●
Make sure there is always sufficient water in the unit (the bottom
should be covered) to prevent dry boiling.
●
Never use the unit near a heat source.
●
Never use the unit outdoors. Store in a dry place.
●
Always pull the plug from the electric socket when filling with wa
-
ter, after each use and before cleaning.
●
Make sure to use the unit only together with the supplied base sta-
tion. Never use the base station for any other purpose.
