3-B Install Rear-Facing With LATCH Strap

Review your vehicle’s owner manual for LATCH location and use.

1. Store Top Tether Strap

Store top tether hook as shown.

2. Rotate the Recline Foot

Rotate the light grey recline foot on the bottom of the car seat

into the rear-facing position marked with a blue label. The

recline foot is secure when it “clicks” into place.

3. Recline the Car Seat

Fully recline the car seat to fully expose the rear-facing belt

path.

4. From the Bottom of the Seat, Open the LATCH

Storage Door and Remove the InRight

LATCH

Connectors from Storage Location

5. Extend the LATCH Strap

For easier installation, extend the LATCH strap to its maximum

length by pressing the gray button and pulling on the strap.
