SUFFOCATION HAZARD
Infants have suffocated:
• In gaps between extra padding
and side of the bassinet, and
• On soft bedding.
Use ONLY the assembled mattress
pad provided by Graco. NEVER
add a pillow, comforter, toys or
another mattress for padding.
• Product can roll over on soft
surfaces and suffocate child.
Never place product on beds,
sofas, cushions, or other soft
surfaces.
FALL HAZARD:
Infants have
suffered head injuries falling from
bassinet. To help prevent falls,
• DO NOT use this product when
the infant begins to push up on
hands and knees, weighs over
20 lb (9 kg) (approximately 5
months of age), or child’s head
and feet simultaneously touch
head and foot ends of bassinet
mesh sides, whichever comes
first.
• Child’s activity can move
carrier. NEVER place carrier on
counter tops, tables, or any
other elevated surface.
• Bassinet not intended for use as
infant restraint devices in motor
vehicles.
• NEVER use this product as a
means to transport an infant in
a motor vehicle.
• ALWAYS provide the
supervision necessary for the
continued safety of your child.
• NEVER carry child in bedside
bassinet mode (with legs
attached).
• The product must be fully
assembled per these
instructions before use.
• ALWAYS keep objects out of
child’s reach.
• DO NOT use product as a car
bed.
• NEVER place a child under the
product.
• To reduce the risk of SIDS,
pediatricians recommend
healthy infants be placed on
their backs to sleep, unless
otherwise advised by your
physician.
• Use
ONLY
the mattress cover
included with this product. Do
not use a sheet with the
mattress pad.
•
DO NOT
use mattress pad
without boards and foam pads.
Always assemble mattress pad
with foam pad on top of board
and place both fully inside
mattress pad cover.
• ALWAYS use mattress pad.
