GUI operation
Changing settings
The chart below shows the settings for the unit. Change the
settings to suit your preferences and to set up the unit in the
environment in which it is being used.
1) Press [SETUP] to display the setup menu.

Playback
Your DVD
The “Your DVD” feature automatically searches for your
preferences every time you load a DVD disc. It then finds
and selects your preferred language and audio settings (if
available) without having to access the disc menu. A
special Your DVD screen appears appear on your TV
when a disc is loaded informing you if your playback
preferences were found on the disc, including Audio
language, Subtitle language, and Surround mode. To
enable this feature, first set all your preferences and then
turn Your DVD “On”.

AutoPlay
Tired of wading through confusing and inconsistent menus
upon loading rented DVD discs? When the “AutoPlay”
feature is active, the DVD Recorder will find the beginning
of the movie on most discs and begin playing the movie
automatically. To enable this feature, turn AutoPlay “On”.

Aspect Ratio
Sets your preferred aspect ratio for DVD movies.
16:9 Wide 4:3 Pan 4:3 L.Box
Parental
Sets the parental control feature to block playback of
DVDs that exceed the specified rating (not all discs are
rated).
The parental control levels are:
1: Kid Safe
2: G
3: PG 4: PG-13
5: PG-R 6: R 7: NC-17 8: Adult
Off
Password
Sets a password to limit access to the Parental Control
feature.

Factory default setting is “0000”.
Slide Time
Sets the slideshow interval while playing JPEG files.

Video Output
Sets the video output signal.

Sets the date of the system clock.

Sets the time of the system clock.
HH:MM:SS AM/PM
Auto-Sleep
Turns off the unit automatically after a specified time.
Off/30/60/90/120mins
Default
Restores default settings.
