CLEANING YOUR KETTLE
Unplug it.
Let it cool down and clean it with a damp sponge.
• Never immerse the kettle, its base, the cord or the electric plug in water: the
electrical connections or the switch must not come into contact with water.
• Do not use scouring pads.
DECALCIFYING / DESCALING
If the appliance keeps switching off before reaching boiling point this is a sign
that decalcifying is necessary.
Any regular descaling agent may be used, provided you follow the instructions.
Do not fill the kettle to the maximum upper mark to avoid spilling when the
water from the descaling agent foams up.
To clean the kettle thoroughly of any decalcification residues let it go through
several boiling cycles using clean water with each cycle. Rinse the kettle with
clean water after the final boiling cycle.
Open the Tea Infuser (F), and put the tea inside. And then insert Infuser into the
Ttea Infuser Lid (H) and ensure it is securely in kettle.
When brewing tea, you can lift the tea Infuser up and down by lifting the handle
of the Tea Infuser (F).
