If the device or the connection are damaged, they must be re-
placed by the manufacturer, customer service or a similarly qual-

ed body (e.g. specialist workshop) in order to avoid hazards.

Make absolutely sure to observe the cleaning instructions in the
chapter "Cleaning and storage"!
DANGER – shock hazard

Only store the device in enclosed rooms.
■
Do not use the device in rooms with high humidity.
■
Should the device fall into the water, immediately disconnect the power supply. Do
not try to pull the device out of the water while it is connected to the mains! Have it
checked by a specialist workshop before restarting.
■
Never touch the device, thermostat and connection with wet hands when these com-
ponents are connected to the mains.
■
The thermostat socket and the connection have to be completely dry before using
the device.
WARNING – Risk of injury

Keep children and animals away from plastic bags and foils. There is a danger of
suffocation.
■
Make sure that the power cord is always out of reach of small children and animals.
There is a danger of strangulation.

During operation, hot steam may escape from the device. Therefore keep the head
and hands away from the danger zone. There is a risk of scalding from heat and hot
steam.

The grill plate of the device becomes very hot. Be careful when placing and remov-
ing food! If necessary, use kitchen tongs made of plastic or wood. There is a danger
of burns.

The device must not be moved during operation. There is a danger of burns.
■
Make sure that the connected power cord is not a tripping hazard. The power cord
must not hang down from the installation surface, in order to prevent the device from
tearing down.
