A Temperature setting knob, on/off, and SF
D Red LED –
high temperature signal
To activate:
rotate the temperature setting knob in the clockwise
direction towards the
Max
position.
When the appliance is switched on for the fi rst time, a red LED
lights up; this LED will go off when the refrigerator has cooled
down to a temperature at which there is no more danger of
damage to the food.
To deactivate:
rotate the knob back until the dot indication
coincides with the
marking (the appliance is still connected to
the mains, i.e. there is still electric current in the appliance).
• Recommended setting of the temperature setting knob (
A
) is
in the middle, between
Min
and
Max
.
• A change in the environment temperature will also affect the
temperature in the appliance. Thus, the temperature setting
should be adjusted accordingly. Positions towards the
Max
marking stand for lower temperature in the appliance (cooler
temperatures), while the positions closer to the
Min
marking
stand for higher temperature (warmer).
The red LED is switched on:
If the temperature in the
refrigerator rises above a certain level, this LED lights up;
the LED goes off automatically when the temperature in the
refrigerator drops suffi ciently to prevent the danger of damage to
the food (see “Troubleshooting”).
