•  Use this function when switching on the appliance for the 

fi

time, before cleaning, and when inserting large amounts of 
food (see »Freezing process«).

• Press the 

E

 key – signal light 

F

 will light up and

appear on the display. The function will be deactivated after 
approximately two days. It can be deactivated manually by 
pressing the 

E

 key.

If the temperature is too high, the high temperature alarm will 
be activated (intermittent beep); signal light 

D

 and temperature 

display (-16°C) will 

fl

 ash.

•  The alarm will be switched off automatically as soon as the 

temperature in the freezer drops to a level that no longer 
presents spoilage hazard.

•  Acknowledge and turn off the acoustic alarm by pressing the 

C

 

key.

•  After it is acknowledged by pressing the 

C

 key, the acoustic 

alarm will be re-activated every 24 hours if the temperature 
in the freezer is not low enough and there is danger of food 
spoilage.

• Signal light 

D

 and temperature display (reading -16°C) will 

continue until the temperature in the freezer is low enough and 
there is danger of food spoilage.

High temperature alarm due to power supply failure (or because 
the appliance power cord has been disconnected) indicates that 
the freezer temperature dropped during the power outage to a 
level that poses risk of food spoilage. After the power supply is 
restored, the temperature reached by the freezer is stored with 
a certain time delay. In case of several consecutive outages, the 
highest temperature is stored. 
Acoustic alarm will be activated (intermittent beeping for

 ve 

minutes every full hour), and the 

D

 signal light and maximum 

temperature display will 

fl

 ash.

•  To acknowledge and deactivate the acoustic alarm and 

maximum temperature display, press the 

C

 key.

• Signal light 

D

 and temperature display (reading -16°C) will 

continue to

 ash until the temperature in the freezer is low 

enough not to pose hazard of food spoilage.
