What to do if…
MESSAGE MEANING W HAT TO DO
FILL TANK The water tank is empty or
is positioned incorrectly.
Fill the water tank as
described on page 6
(fig. 1) and insert it fully.
The tank is dirty or
encrusted with lime scale.
Rinse or desc ale the tank.
GROUND TOO FINE
ADJUST MILL AND PRESS
OK
The coffee runs off too
slowly.
Turn the grinding regulator
one click clockwise (see
3.2.4 on page 12).
EMPTY GROUNDS
CONTAINER
INSERT GROUNDS
CONTAINER
ADD PRE-GROUND
COFFEE
The appliance cannot make
coffee.
The grounds container is
full.
After cleaning, the grounds
container has not been
replaced.
With the ground coffee
function selected, ground
coffee has not been poured
into the funnel.
Press the OK button.
Empty the grounds
container and clean as
described on page 10,
then replace.
Open the service door
and insert the grounds
container.
Add the ground coffee as
described in 3.2.5 on page
12 and 13.
FILL BEAN CONTAINER The coffee beans have run
out.
Fill the bean container.
If the coffee grinder is very
noisy, this means a small
stone in the coffee beans
has blocked the mill.
Contact an authorised
service centre.
