Using Your TV as a PC Monitor
With your PC and the TV switched off, use a VGA cable to connect the
PC monitor output to the TV, see “Rear View and Connectors” on
page 8.
The audio output from your PC can also be connected through the TV,
however, you will need a separate cable from the PC’s audio output to
the PC AUDIO IN which is a 3.5 mm stereo jack socket, see “Rear View
and Connectors” on page 8.
Switch the computer and TV on and press the PC button.
When the computer powers up The TV will automatically adjust the
screen resolution. Depending on the screen driver options available in
your PC you may be able to adjust the screen resolution as follows.
Right click anywhere on
the desktop and select
Properties from the menu.
In the properties menu
select Settings.
In the bottom left of the
Settings menu is a screen
resolution bar. Move the
bar to alternative settings,
if available, to change the
resolution.
When you have selected
the resolution you require click on Apply then OK.
PC Monitor Setup menus
The setup menus in the PC monitor mode are the same as those
described in “TV Setup Menus” on page 26 apart from the Advanced
Image menu.
