9 Entsorgungshinweise
9.1 Produkt
Elektrische und elektronische Geräte dürfen nach der europäischen
WEEE Richtlinie nicht mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Deren Be-
standteile müssen getrennt der Wiederverwertung oder Entsorgung
zugeführt werden, weil giftige und gefährliche Bestandteile bei unsachge-
mäßer Entsorgung die Gesundheit und Umwelt nachhaltig schädigen können. Sie
sind als Verbraucher nach dem Elektrogesetz (ElektroG) verpflichtet, elektrische
und elektronische Geräte am Ende ihrer Lebensdauer an den Hersteller, die
Verkaufsstelle oder an dafür eingerichtete, öffentliche Sammelstellen kostenlos
zurückzugeben. Einzelheiten dazu regelt das jeweilige Landesrecht. Das Symbol
auf dem Produkt, der Betriebsanleitung und/oder der Verpackung weist auf diese

1 Safety Instructions
1.1 General
•
Read the user manual completely and carefully before use.
The user manual is part of the product and contains important information for
correct use.
•
Keep this user manual.
The user manual must be available for uncertainties and passing the product.
•
Do not modify product and accessories.
•
Use product, product parts and accessories only in perfect condition.
•
In case of questions, defects, mechanical damage, trouble and other
problems, non-recoverable by the documentation, contact your dealer or
producer.
Not meant for children. The product is not a toy!
•
Secure packaging, small parts and insulation against accidental use.
•
Avoid stresses such as heat and cold, moisture and direct sunlight
vibration and mechanical pressure.
•
Never operate the product near gas or electric heaters, open fires, cand-
les or other sources of heat.
•
Always place the product on coasters to avoid wax edges on furniture and
storage
areas.
• Do not operate the LED Candles in their packaging.
•
Do not cover the product.
1.2 Batteries
1.2.1 Candle
The batteries are replaceable
.
•
Do not mix old and new batteries.
•
Only use batteries of the same or equivalent type as recom mended.
•
Do not mix alkaline, carbon zinc or nickel cadmium batteries
.
•
Remove leaked, deformed or corroded batteries from the product and
dispose them by appropriate protectives.
•
Do not throw into fire.

Remote control
The battery from the remote control is replaceable.
• Never use batteries when they are dented, leaked or damaged.
• Remove leaked, deformed or corroded batteries from the product and
dispose them by appropriate protectives.
• If a battery has leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous
membranes. If necessary, rinse affected areas with water and seak
medical attention immediately.
• Do not deform, burn or disassemble the battery and never pierce it with
a sharp object.
Extreme heat may cause explosion and/or leaking of corrosive liquid.
Mechanical damage can result in gaseous substances which can be highly
irritating, combustible or toxic.
• Do not short-circuit the battery or immerse it in liquids.
There is a risk of explosion, fire, heat, fumes or gas emission.
• Immediately remove the battery out of the water when it has been fallen
into by accident. Place it in a safe, open area, and keep away until com-
pletely dry. Do not use the dried battery again, but dispose it as described
in chapter 9 “Disposal Instrutions.

Description and Function
2.1 Product
LED real wax candle as a safe lighting solution for many areas including
homes and loggias, offices or schools.

can be used in places where real candles are too dangerous or not
allowed

with moving wick and candle shell made of real wax

with timer function - 4 hours on / 20 hours off or 8 hours on / 16 hours off

3 Intended Use
We do not permit using the device in other ways like described in
chapter „Description and Function“ or „Safety Instructions“. Use the
product only in dry interior rooms. Not attending to these regulations
and safety instructions might cause fatal accidents, injuries, and damages to
persons and property.
4 Preparation

Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.
5 Commissioning
5.1 Candle
1. Unscrew the cap of the real wax rod candle clockwise.
2. Insert the batteries (AA/LR6) as shown in the illustration. Pay attention to
the
polarity.
3. Screw the cover of the real wax rod candle counterclockwise again.
4. Switch the candles on with the ON/OFF switch on the cover of the real
wax rod candle.
5. Place the candles in candle holders.
5.2 Remote control
1. Remove the contact protection tab of the remote control.
2. Select the appropriate function with the buttons.
The range of the remote control is max. 5m.
You can switch on/off up to 20 candles with one remote control.
6 Operating
6.1 Remote control - Manual
1. Switch the candles on with the „ON“ button and off with the „OFF“ button.
6.2 Remote control - Timer
1. Press the „4H“ or „8H“ button and the candles will light for 4 or 8 hours
and then switch off automatically. The next day, the candles switch on
again at the same time. This process is repeated endlessly. Stop the timer
function by pressing the OFF switch.
6.3 Remote control - Mode
1. Press the „FLICKERING“ button and you have a natural candlelight effect.
2. Press the „STEADY“ button and you will have normal continuous light.
7 Battery change
7.1 Genuine wax rod candle
1. See 5.1 „Commissioning“.
7.2 Remote control
If necessary, replace the empty battery with a new one of the same type.
See the chapter „Specifications“.
1. Grasp the battery compartment with thumb and index finger.
2. Use your thumb to press the safety tab (7) flush with the battery compart-
ment (see picture A).
3. Grip the recessed grip (6) with the nail of your index finger.
4. Pull the battery compartment out of the remote control.
5. Remove the battery.
6. Dispose of the empty battery properly.
Please also read the „Disposal Instructions“.
7. Insert a new battery of the same type into the battery compartment with
the positive terminal facing upwards.
8. Push the battery compartment closed again until it stops (see picture B).
The locking tab must snap into place.
8 Maintenance, Care, Storage and Transport
The products are maintenance-free.
•
Only use a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.
•
Do not use detergents or chemicals.
• Store cool and dry.
•
Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries when not in use.
• Store the product out the reach of children and in a dry and dust-protec-
ted ambience when not in use.
•
Keep and use the original packaging for transport.
9 Disposal Instructions
9.1 Product
According to the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic
equipment must not be disposed with consumers waste. Its components
must be recycled or disposed apart from each other. Otherwise contami-
native and hazardous substances can damage the health and pollute the
environment. As a consumer, you are committed by law to dispose electrical and
electronic devices to the producer, the dealer, or public collecting points at the
end of the devices lifetime for free. Particulars are regulated in national right. The
symbol on the product, in the user manual,or at the packaging alludes to these
terms. With this kind of waste separation, application, and waste disposal of used
devices you achieve an important share to environmental protection.

9.2 Batterie
(Rechargeable) batteries must not be disposed of with household waste.
Their components have to be supplied separately to the recycling or dispo-
sal, because toxic and dangerous ingredients can harm the environment
if not disposed of sustainably. As a consumer, you are obliged to return them
at the end of their service lives to the manufacturer, the sales outlet or established for
this purpose, public collection points for free. Details regulates the respective coun-
try‘s law. The symbol on the product, the instruction manual and / or the packaging
draws attention to those provisions. With this kind of material separation, recovery
and disposal of waste (rechargeable) batteries you make an important contribution to
protecting our environment.
