3. Note: The parts shown in this step may be preassembled

but may need to be adjusted. 

With the help of a second person, raise the Frame (55)
and hold it. Insert the Left Frame Guide (68) into the left
side of the Frame. Next, remove the knob from the pin.

Make sure that the collar and the spring are on the
pin.

Insert the pin into the Frame and the Left Frame

Guide. Press the Latch Insert (5) onto the Frame, with the
pin in the center hole. Then, tighten the knob back onto
the pin. 

Align the pin with the hole in the left Upright (65) by sliding
the Left Frame Guide (68) up or down. 

Make sure that

the pin can be inserted fully into the hole.

Hold the Left

Frame Guide in place and tighten two 3/4” Screws (43)
into the Latch Insert and the Left Frame Guide. Note: It
may be necessary to pull the knob to access and tighten
the Screws.

Note: After a period of use, the Latch Insert (5) may need
to be adjusted for the pin to be aligned with the hole in the
left Upright (65).

2. Have another person hold one of the Handrails (50) near the

right Upright (65) as shown. Hold an Upper Handrail Spacer
(67) between the Handrail and the round tube on the right
Upright. Insert a 2 1/4” Bolt (70) into the Upper Handrail
Spacer and 

finger tighten

the Bolt into the Handrail.

Next, hold a Lower Handrail Spacer (62) against the right
Upright (65) as shown. Insert two 8” Bolts (71), into the
right Upright and the Lower Upright Spacer, and tighten the
Bolts several turns into the Handrail (50). 

After all three

Bolts are started, tighten them.

Attach the other Handrail (not shown) in the same way.

Press the Right Cup Holder (10) into the Book Holder
(114). Press the other Cup Holder (not shown) into the
other side of the Book Holder.

Press a Round Endcap (87) into each end of the round
tube on the Upright (65) (only one side is shown). Use a
rubber mallet, if necessary.

Remove the paper backing from the GOLD’S GYM Decal
(126), and apply to the center of the Round Endcap (87).
