Audio Outputs

Connect a loudspeaker with an impedance of 4 to 16 Ohms to the terminals marked Spkr + and Spkr-.

For maximum output, use a 4 Ohm loudspeaker.

WARNING: DO NOT CONNECT EITHER LOUDSPEAKER OUTPUT TERMINALS TO GROUND

You may alternatively connect an external amplifier to the Line out terminal and GND if required.

Note: The volume control should generally be set to between 25 and 50% to achieve 0dB output.

Run out

This output can be used to control an external device such as a relay.

The output will pull to ground when an audio track is playing and will be open circuit when no audio is

playing.

If driving a relay, you must fit a diode across the relay coil to suppress back EMF.

Maximum capacity is 30V at 500mA.
