Operating Your Dehumidifier

Leave the appliance to stand for one hour after transport or after the unit has been on its side
before connecting it to the mains supply to let the refrigerant settle.

Ensure that the water container is positioned correctly.

Ensure all external windows and doors are closed before turning on the unit.

Plug into power supply and switch on at the mains. The appliance will display the current
humidity level on the control panel. The POWER indicator light will illuminate to show power to
the unit.

To turn the appliance on, press the POWER button.

Use the FAN SPEED button to switch between High and Low fan speeds.

As long as the water container is not full, the appliance will continue to operate until it is switched
off manually.
If the appliance is switched off manually and then switched back on, the compressor will start to
operate after three minutes.

To turn the appliance off, press the POWER button.

The louvre can be adjusted manually by lifting the louvre at the opening and pushing it upward or
pressing it back down to close it.

Press the HUMIDITY SET Button to set the desired humidity level in the room, each press of the
HUMIDITY SET button will adjust in 5% increments from 40-80%.
Once you have set the desired humidity level, the LED will display the room humidity level again
and will adjust as the room humidity level increases or decreases.
When the relative humidity in the room is lower than the selected humidity, the unit will
automatically stop dehumidifying until the humidity level increases again.

This appliance is designed to provide optimum performance at 35°C to 15°C but it is still effective
down to 5°C. Ultimately the performance of this appliance is dependant on the amount of
moisture or water vapour in the air.

Please note: This appliance is rated to extract 8L per day in an environment of 80% humidity and
temperature of 30°C. This is the world-wide standard for rating dehumidifiers. In NZ we do not
have climatic conditions with this humidity and high temperature. Accordingly this product will
not extract 8L per day, extraction levels will be lower.
