ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
This heater may be used with feet on the floor or attached directly to the wall.
For floor use, attach the feet to the lower part of the heater by snapping each foot into the matching holes
Firmly press each foot until a “click” is heard use the two small screws provided to fasten feet in place.
Place the heater on a firm, level, open surface at least 90 cm away from any other object.
DO NOT use on an unstable surface such as bedding or deep carpeting.
For wall mounting, secure the wall attachment clips into the wall with the screws provided. DO NOT install
this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or swimming pool.
Attach the wall spacers on the back of the heater to keep the minimum distance to the wall. Attach the
heater to the mounting clips, using the mounting holes on the back of the heater.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Turn the switch to (0).
Plug the heater into an outlet.
Turn the switch to the desired power, (I-Low, II-High).
The fan will only operate on power setting II . (GCV355 Model Only)
Turn the thermostat clockwise to its highest setting for a rapid warming.
When the room reaches a comfortable temperature, slowly turn the thermostat anticlockwise until the heater
switches off. At this setting, the thermostat will automatically turn the heater on (the pilot light illuminates)
and off (the pilot light goes out) to maintain the selected temperature.
To turn the heater off, turn the switch to the (0) position and unplug it.
FROST PROTECTION
The convector is equipped with anti-frost function. Plug in the heater. Turn the switch to any heat setting.
Turn the thermostat anticlockwise to its lowest setting. As soon as the room temperature is below + 6° C the
heater will automatically switch on.
AUTOMATIC SAFETY CUT-OUT
This product is equipped with an automatic safety cut-out. If the heater stops unexpected, the safety cut-out
may have operated. Once the safety cut has operated, the heater will not restart until the heater has been
turned off and cooled down. In this situation, it is recommended turn the switch to the (0) position and
unplug it. Allow the heater to cool. Plug the heater into a socket and follow the “Operating Instructions”.
CLEANING
We recommend to clean the heater at least once a month. Switch off the heater, unplug it and allow to cool.
Use a damp cloth to clean ONLY the external surfaces of the heater. Do not use any abrasive or caustic
cleaning agents. Never immerse the heater in water! We recommend to clean the heater at least once a
month.

To receive warranty retain receipt as proof of purchase. (Refer to back of booklet).
