Simplified leak check
Check for leaks every time you replace a cylinder or if the system has not been used for some
time.
1. Close the cylinder valve on the operating side.
2. Open the cylinder valve on the reserve side.
3. The visual indicator type AUV changes from
GREEN
to
RED
= reserve.
4. Close the open cylinder valve on the reserve side.
The indicator type AUV should not change within 15 minutes, otherwise the system has a
leak.
The simplified leak testing process does not replace the pressure and leak testing of the LPG
system by a
n
expert
.
START-UP
After the product has been ASSEMBLED and LEAK TESTING has been carried out
successfully, it is immediately ready for operation.
The product can be damaged if the gas cylinder is moved!
Entrained liquid phase can cause the pressure to increase in the LPG system and damage
the product or the LPG system.
Do not move the gas cylinder while the system is in operation.
If LPG is withdrawn too quickly or is continuously withdrawn from the cylinder on the
operating side, the temperature of the gas falls and, as a result, the cylinder pressure drops
below the required inlet pressure of the regulator. In addition LPG is then also withdrawn
from the reserve cylinder.
Proper operation of the system is no longer guaranteed.
The LPG cylinders on both sides may be emptied simultaneously or also at different
rates.
OPERATION
Cylinder replacement during operation
1. Set the changeover device so that
GREEN
is pointing to the cylinder on the reserve side.
2. Close the cylinder valve of the empty gas cylinder
2. Loosen the connections to the gas cylinder
4. Replace the empty cylinder with a full one and connect the full one.
The gas non-return valve prevents the gas flow from escaping through the free
connection during cylinder replacement.
5. Open the cylinder valve.
6. Check for leaks.
7. The full cylinder is available as a reserve.
