Observe the installation conditions of
EN1648-1
or
EN1648-2
(Installation in caravans
and motor caravans) and
EN ISO 10133
(Installation in small water vehicles).
•
Always connect the wire colour of the connection cable (from pressure and reed sensor)
of the transmitter for remote display with the same connection cable wire colour!
•
The connection cable in the gas locker may not have any connection points and may
not be extended by intermediate pieces. A length of less than 250mm (EN 1648-1) to the
interior space penetration is recommended.
•
Guide the connection between the 3-pin connector and the 3-pin socket for the
connection cable
out
of the gas bottle locker
•
In order to conduct the connection cable
out
of the gas locker, an appropriate opening
should be made to the
interior
. This cable bushing (e.
g. with interior rubber grommet)
must be at least 50cm above the floor of the gas locker. The opening to the interior space
must then be sealed gastight (e.g. with bodywork sealant).
•
If cables are laid through the gas locker, they must be protected against mechanical
damage. Laying within a continuous cable duct or a conduit fulfils this requirement.
Carry out a functional test in order to check that the wiring is correct!
The first time or repeated times that power is applied, this is indicated by an LED
test (all LEDs flash briefly).
