Fault detection
If the motor stops...
The overload cutout may have been
triggered to protect the log splitter. Allow
the motor to cool down, and press the
button on the overload cutout device to
restart the motor.
If the log splitter pushes the log in jerks
or makes any unusual noise or vibrates
abnormally...
There may be air in the hydraulic oil tank, or
too little oil. Check the oil level, and top up
with more hydraulic oil if necessary. If this
does not solve the problem, contact your
dealer.
If there is an oil leak...
There may be air in the hydraulic system.
Loosen the vent screw before using the log
splitter.
You have moved the log splitter without
� rst tightening the vent screw.
You have not tightened the oil drainage
screw suffi ciently.
The gaskets may be worn. Contact your
dealer.
