Generator
Starting the Generator
1. Make sure the AC circuit breaker is in the OFF position.
2. Turn the fuel valve lever to the ON position.
3. Pull choke lever out to the CLOSED position.
4. Turn the engine switch to the ON position.
5. for recoil Starter

Pull the starter grip lightly until
resistance is felt, then pull rapidly.
6. Push the choke lever to the OPEN position as engine warms
up. The choke is used to provide the proper mixture when the
engine is cold. It can be opened and closed by operating the
choke lever manually. Move the lever to the closed position to
enrich the mixture for cold starting.
7. Once the generator’s engine is running, allow several minutes
for the motor to stabilize before connecting any load/electrical
devices.
8. Once the generator has been allowed to run and warm up for
several minutes, equipment can be connected. Make sure that
all cords and devices are in good condition.

refer to the TROUBLESHOOTING section in this manual.

Do not use choke lever if the engine is warm or if the
air temperature is above 80 degrees.
NOTICE
The choke lever, if hot, could cause severe burns.
DO NOT touch until the engine cools down.

Engine oil must be added prior to starting the
generator and the proper oil level must be
maintained.
Always check the dipstick to ensure proper oil level
before attempting to start the generator.
