Windshield Wipers
The windshield wipers are controlled by the stalk on the
right side of the steering column.
Turn the knob at the end of the stalk to LO for wiping at
low speed. Turn the knob to HI for wiping at higher
speed. To stop the wipers, turn the knob to OFF.
You can set the wiper speed for a long or short delay
between wipes. This can be very useful in light rain or
snow. To operate the delay wipers, turn the knob at the
end of the stalk to INT. Then turn the INT TIME band to
choose the delay time. The closer the band is turned to
F, the shorter the delay will be.
Heavy snow or ice can overload your wipers. Clear
away snow or ice to prevent bending or breaking the
wiper linkage.
Windshield Washer
To spray washer fluid on the windshield, push the button
on the end of the stalk while the wipers are moving.
Spray will continue as long as the button is pressed.
CAUTION:
In freezing weather, don’t use your washer until
the windshield is warmed. Otherwise the washer
fluid can form ice on the windshield, blocking
your vision.
