Navigation
Using the Navigation
System
Touch Nav on the Home Page or
the Nav icon in the shortcut tray
near the bottom of the infotainment
display to access the navigation
application. The initial view when
navigation opens is the full map
view screen with the top search field
bar open.
While the vehicle is stopped, the
search bar will stay open until
manually closed by touching
z
.
When the vehicle starts moving, the
search bar will minimize to a search
icon so that the map is maximized
while in an inactive guidance view.
If the vehicle is not signed into a
customized profile, the current
location icon uses a generic symbol.
Once signed into a customized
profile, the current location symbol
will show a customized icon. See
While the vehicle is running without
a route, a drive To Home and To
Work pop-up will display on top of
the current location icon. The drive
To Home and To Work icon will
disappear after 15 seconds or tap
the current location icon and click
the drive To Home pop-up to start a
route.
If Home and Work are not set,
touch

(Settings) on the map to
access the Map and Navigation
Settings menu. Touch the Set Up
My Places option to display Show
My Places on Map. This option can
be enabled or disabled. If this option
is enabled, enter a Home address.
Below the Home address, enter a
work address or select a place
name if not work and enter address.
Touch Done when finished.
Predictive Navigation
Predictive Navigation is a feature
that will display an Enable
Predictive Navigation prompt the
first time navigation is launched.
Touch to Confirm or Decline.
If enabled, this feature learns the
preferences by remembering where
the vehicle has been. It uses the
locations and navigation history to
personalize routes and results. The
feature is disabled by default.
Predictive Navigation will learn
elements such as:

Home and important address
detection.
.
Personalized route.
.
Smart POI icon display.
.
Predictive traffic.
Predictive Navigation can also be
enabled or disabled in
Navigation Preferences
Touch

while in the map view to
display a list of the Map and
Navigation Settings options.
Features displayed in the Map and
Navigation Settings menu can be
selected to adjust navigation
preferences.
To exit out of a list, touch
z
in the
top right corner to return to the main
map view.
