until fully seated on the engine front cover.
Install the distributor mounting bolts. Tighten to 8-9 ft. lbs. (11-12 Nm).

Attach the 4-pin ECM/PCM connector.
19.
If equipped, attach the distributor vacuum harness to the distributor.
20.
Connect the spark plug wires to the distributor, as tagged during removal.
21.
Install the drive belt tensioner.
22.
Install the crankshaft balancer and water pump, as outlined in Engine & Engine Overhaul of this repair guide.
23.
Attach the ECT sensor connector.
24.
Refill the cooling system with the proper type and amount of coolant.
25.
Install the accessory drive belt.
26.
Install the air intake duct and attach the IAT sensor electrical connector.
27.
Connect the negative battery cable.
